In March this year, I was fortunate to be sponsored by the International Association for Correctional and Forensic Psychology (IACFP) to attend the International Research in Corrections Conference (IRCC) in Auckland, New Zealand. Working within the Department of Corrections New Zealand is often fast-paced, and I valued the opportunity to step back, reflect, and engage with new learning—particularly at my first international conference.
